Before you start

Open your CrawlReady report's Data consistency check section and note exactly what your website says for your business name, address, and phone. That's the spelling you're going to copy onto Facebook — pick one version and use it everywhere.

Tip

Copy the text straight from your website rather than retyping it. Most mismatches are tiny: "St" vs "Street", a missing suite number, or a different phone format.

Update your page

  1. Open your Page

Go to facebook.com and switch to your business Page (click your profile picture, then your Page's name). You need admin or editor access to change business info.

  2. Open Page settings

Click your Page's profile picture, then Settings. In the left menu, choose Page info (on the newer Pages experience this lives under Settings → Page setup → Page info).

  3. Edit your address

In the About / location section, match your street address, suite or unit number, city, state, and ZIP to your website character for character. Make sure the map pin sits on the right building.

  4. Edit your phone number

Use the same phone number — in the same format — as your website. If your site shows (412) 555-0134, don't enter 412-555-0134 on Facebook.

  5. Check your hours

While you're there, confirm your hours are current, including holiday hours. Outdated hours are one of the most common Facebook mismatches.

  6. Save

Click Save changes. Facebook page-info edits usually go live right away.

After the changes go live

Run a new CrawlReady scan. The Data consistency check reads your website fresh each time — once Facebook matches, the mismatch flag clears.

Don't stop at Facebook

Repeat the same copy-paste on your Google Business Profile and your Yelp listing. AI assistants check all of them, and one holdout keeps the mismatch alive.
