Before you start
Open your CrawlReady report's Data consistency check section and note exactly what your website says for your business name, address, and phone. That's the spelling you're going to copy onto Yelp — pick one version and use it everywhere.
Copy the text straight from your website rather than retyping it. Most mismatches are tiny: "St" vs "Street", a missing suite number, or a different phone format.
Update your listing
- Open Yelp for Business
Go to biz.yelp.com and sign in with the account that manages your business. If you haven't claimed your listing yet, search for your business and click "Claim this business" first — Yelp will verify you by phone or email before you can edit anything.
- Open Business Information
In the left menu, go to Business Information. This is where your public name, address, and phone live.
- Edit your business name
Type it exactly as it appears on your website — same spelling, same punctuation, no extra keywords or location tags.
- Edit your address
Match your street address, suite or unit number, city, state, and ZIP to your website character for character. Check the map pin sits on the right building.
- Edit your phone number
Use the same phone number — in the same format — as your website. If your site shows (412) 555-0134, don't enter 412-555-0134 on Yelp.
- Save and wait for review
Click Save. Yelp reviews most business-information edits before they go live — this usually takes a day or two. You'll get an email when they're published.
After the changes go live
Run a new CrawlReady scan. The Data consistency check reads your website fresh each time — once Yelp matches, the mismatch flag clears.
Repeat the same copy-paste on your Google Business Profile and your Facebook page. AI assistants check all of them, and one holdout keeps the mismatch alive.
