Why this matters

When AI decides whether to recommend you, it looks for proof you're legitimate. An About page says "we're real people." A Contact page says "here's how to reach us." A pricing or menu page says "here's what it costs." Sites missing these look unfinished or fly-by-night — AI would rather recommend a business it can verify.

Do it yourself

Every platform lets you add pages in a few clicks. Add whichever ones you're missing:

Add the page

  1. Wix: In the editor, click Pages (left sidebar) → Add Page at the bottom → name it "About", "Contact", or "Menu".
  2. Squarespace: In the Pages panel, click the + next to Main Navigation → Page → name it.
  3. WordPress: Go to Pages → Add New, type the title ("About", "Contact", "Menu"), click Publish.
  4. Shopify: Go to Online Store → Pages → Add page, title it, click Save.

Link it in your menu

On Wix, Squarespace, and WordPress, new pages usually appear in your navigation menu automatically — check your site's top menu and confirm. On Shopify, go to Online Store → Navigation → Main menu → Add menu item and link your new page.

What to put on each page

  • About: Who you are, how long you've been in business, what you do, and your neighborhood or city. A photo of you, your team, or your storefront helps.
  • Contact: Your full street address, phone number, email, and hours. A contact form is nice, but the actual address and phone number must be typed on the page — AI can't read them from a form.
  • Pricing/Menu: Your actual prices, service list, or menu. "Call for pricing" on everything makes AI (and customers) move on — list at least your core services with prices or starting prices.

After publishing

Run a new CrawlReady scan. The content check looks for these pages fresh each time — once they're linked from your site, the flags clear.
